Deliberately **** to to finalize a transaction???

On 19 August 2025 I have put my vehicle on ABSA fastbuy to be sold. On 24 August the "sale" was finalized and I was informed that We Buy Cars were the highest bidder.

On 29 August, Absa informed me that they accepted We Buy Car's offer and issued me with a pin. They informed me that the shortfall I had to pay was an amount of R42,286.39. I have handed over the car to We Buy Cars, gave them the pin and PAID THE SHORTFALL AMOUNT!!!!! THIS WAS A SETTLEMENT PAYMENT NOT A DOWN PAYMENT!!!!! To NO FAULT OF MY OWN We Buy Cars did not enter the pin.

I was then phoned by WE BUY CARS that Absa told THEM (not me) to relist the vehicle on Absa Fastbuy to get another pin. THEN Absa told me to continue to load the vehicle, which they did.

This time around ANOTHER dealer made a higher offer and ABSA told me to go with the higher offer, which I did no THEIR instruction. I went to fetch the vehicle from We Buy Cars for the new dealer to come and collect.

BEFORE I ACCEPTED THE OFFER, I specifically ASKED the agent what will happen with the shortfall I ALREADY PAID and the agent told me not to worry, they will recalculate everything and because of the higher offer I WILL GET A REFUND!!!!!! The agent TOLD ME to accept the offer!!!!!

I asked time and time again on BOTH whatsapp and e-mail and every time the agent phoned me I was ASSURED that the recalculation will fix the shortfall indicated on the new INSTRUCTION TO ACCEPT!!!!!

I have sent proof of payment to the agent on his request and GUESS WHAT!!!!!! YES I was BLATANLTY **** to obviously to get the transaction through!!!! This morning I received a statement telling me that I STILL owe ABSA R7714 while I was waiting for a REFUND!!!! How *********** and useless can a bank be!!!!! I did EVERYTHING they told me to do!!
