I took out a Life cover in 2020 with absa life, I was asked questions about my health and everything was in order and started paying monthly premiums but after a year was unable to pay so it lapsed. So a few months later decided to go apply again as my finances where in order but this time I was asked if I'm on any chronic medication and I said yes and I was declined. Now my question is that, I've been on chronic meds for years and the first time I app**** the question was never asked and I paid R398 to R423 for over a year but out of the blue Im declined for the same life cover I was approved for. My money went to waste as I was paying for a life cover that was incorrectly processed in the first place. Please explain as to when changes where made on the Absa life cover application.
