DEFAULT LISTING BY ABSA BANK

I have a personal loan with absa bank and all this time I was under the impression that all is well as I’ve been making all my payments never missed one and continue to have the account up to date. Only when I recently made effort to get my credit score report did I learn that they have blocked me from taking any credit and listed me as that I’ve been handed over to lawyers and my account is in arrears for about 12months.

This has now affected my credit score severely and has also resulted in my inability to obtain more credit with other credit providers outside of them.

I have tirelessly attempted to communicate with them(creditbureau) to rectify the issue but they keep giving me the run around and saying they’ll correct it only for them not to do so.

This is appalling and has negatively impacted my life. I didn’t know banks to do this to their clients😢
