Declining home loan application with invalid reason

In South Africa it shows that black people will never have property, we will die on the streets without assets. Last week we app**** for a home loan at ABSA with my husband but they declined our application due to one account which my husband was in arrears. My question is, why did you not approve me because on my side ABSA did not give any reason. Should we suffer just because of one account? Does that mean we cannot afford to pay the bond because of one account that is in arrears? If it was a white person with the same profile as us, they were going to be approved. I am sooo disappointed with ABSA.
