Declined Limit Increase Credit Card

My wife recently app**** for a credit card increase and was declined due to affordability. I was then forced to apply for a credit card limit increase as well as we needed the funds and was declined due to the same reason. We've been loyal ABSA supporters for years and this is the treatment we get, not to mention Premium Banking clients with most of our accounts held with you. ABSA makes use of a system that generates your expenses from a outdated credit bureau which you as user is unable to change your expenses and installment amounts is outdated. Our cancelled home loan still displays as a monthly expense of R4650 and Avon as a credit account with a monthly expense of R4000 in my wife's case. My wife asked the consultant on Friday if she could send through the supporting letter from Avon stating that the account is a cash account, but was told to rather take it up with the respective bureaus. I've sent an email to ********** with letters from Standard Bank and Avon.

I need senior management to review Mrs application as a matter of urgency first before assessing mine as we would prefer Mrs getting the limit increase of R17500 rather than Mr. Mr only app**** based on Mrs being declined. I really feel our affordability should not be questioned as we can afford the increase.

ID: ********** 148088 Mrs ID: ********** 257088 Mr

Good day, Please ask Isobel to inform your credit department to action our applications today still. This is after all a complaint and not a normal referral so I would think Absa would treat this as priority.
