Declined home loan

To whom it may concern.

Unhappy client.

I’m a client with Absa bank from the early days when it was still Volkskas Bank. Yes there are up’s and downs, but I was still a loyal client. Can you imagine how much money did go through the account for +/- 26 years? My concern is that I’m a sole businessman, where my turnover is growing every year so much so, that I had to register for VAT. This will mean that I will have a much better salary in the near future, but currently still working to get the company growing more. We are currently in the proses for applying for a home loan but are very disappointed that my own bank do not even contemplate with conditions but, declined me for affordability. Standard Bank approved the home loan with some conditions to be met. Now I understand the quote that says “loyalty you only get from a dog”. Maybe my wife (also an Absa client) and I, should consider doing ALL my business with Bank that have faith, I wanting to do business.
