********* SMS - Problems with Absa Credit Cards

During the past two weeks, when I presented my Absa credit card at vendors, I was told by the vendors that the card machine does not allow me the option to use my credit card. The vendors told me that this problem is a general problem for many Absa customers and that I had to go to Absa to have it sorted. Colleagues at my work informed me that they have the same problem with their credit cards. Some of them advised me to use other means of payment until Absa has sorted the problem out, because they had gone to Absa, but their cards were again not working. This is clearly a problem with Absa's systems. <br> <br> What annoys me is that Absa has the audacity to send me an SMS in which they try to imply that it is a problem with my card. The wording of the SMS is: \We are aware that YOU are experiencing problems using your Absa Credit Card. Visit your nearest branch for immediate assistance."This is a ********* message. It is not I who have a problem"
