Deceased SARS payment

On 3/5/2011 SARS paid an amount off R13821.32 into my deceased spouses checque acc at Absa bank, this acc was closed at time of his death in 2009. Since then and ongoing it has been a fruitless task to try and allocate that money. It is gone,lost,******. Strange how the banks can hunt you down for years to come if you owe them money but conveniently forget when its visa versa.. I've been sent from pillar to post when I eventually got hold off relevent departments. Needless to say no one can ever help, its been too long, its not their department, the person working with it is not in. Yes there was a credit card and personal loan, yes it had life insurance, yes the relevent documents from the specialist had been mailed (registered post) three times already. In 2013 a very helpfull lady Melleney Lippert contacted me and I thought at last something will be done, but that didn't last long, she as well just dissapeared. At time off the loan and credit card my husband was healthy. I am tired off excuses and *********** people. Been clients for more than 20 yrs at Absa but very tempted to move to another bank. I just want an answer what happened to that money you owe me? Mrs Bennett
