Debit orders cannot be stopped

I gave an absa account that is incurring crazy charges because there is no money coming in..I've asked the bank several Times to please stop the debit orders but i was told that I cannot stop debit orders ..I have went to several absa branches with no assistance..my account is always on more than R2000 every month which I believe absa is ripping me off..that's total day light *******. I want them to stop these debit orders as soon as possible because ..I have pension money coming in that account soon and I can't close it.if it were up to Me I would have changed from this absa bank to another bank a long time ago
