Debit orders

My debit orders were returned when there was money on the account. Normally when a debit orders goes through Absa gives you until 14:00 the next day to deposit money. The debit order went off and I transferred money first thing in the morning but later that day they still returned the debit order citing that technically when the debit order went off there wasn’t enough now they charged me 300 rands for this which is an unfair practice.

On the twelve I phoned because I used Uber and Uber took more money out of my account than what they quoted and when I called to reverse the transaction Absa told me they can’t do anything as I was the one that gave them my detail to start off with so it means my money will never be safe as companies can do what they want and Absa won’t do anythiabout it
