Debit order- Why do clients have to struggle

I used to be a staff member and since I have resigned I'm struggling with my Vehicle Finance Debit Order. I had to phone a few times before someone noticed that my Payment for the account is on Payroll and not on Debit Order. I do not understand why I have to visit the bank 3times and phone 3times before the Call Centre realise that the payment need to be removed from payroll. Because of this my payment was made late for the last few months and this caused me to have a bad payment record. Finally Vehicle finance fixed the problem and removed me from payroll and I had to phone back after 3 days to change my Debit order date from the 20th to the 27st. I called on 4Feb '16 and Lee made the changes and even confirmed that the debit order will go off on 27 Feb because I made the changes early enough. But now 20 Feb the debit order goes off and there is no funds available. When I call the Call Centre today, the agent is unable to tell me why it went of on the 20th but he can see that it is changed to the 27th. So again no matter how hard I try to have a good payment record it is not possible with absa. Please refund me the R135 unpaid fee, as this is not my mistake.
