Debit order on a payed up loan

On Wednesday R2600 was taken from my account for a loan which I finished paying off on the 1st of July 2018. I went to the Branch in Sandton and I was assisted by a consultant by the name of Khanyisa Dywili. He called the Loans department and reported the issue ( ********** 372) and we were both advised that the funds would be refunded to me on Thursday (02-08-2018), its now Friday (03-08-2018) and I still do not have my refund, and why should I wait for a day for money wrongfully taken from my account by my bank? Why was this money taken from my account in the first place? I want to close my account, and I have been banking with ABSA for 16 years, yet I have problems with my account on a monthly basis.
