Debit order not running

Worst ever when I signed the contract for vehicle finance I asked for debit order to run on the 27th of every month , I received a phone call from the credit department stating my account is in arrears , and the need to to notify the credit score bureau , now I am going to have a bad rating for their own negligence , and this is highly unprofessional that I need to get bad ratings for there fault
