Debit Order dispute

l called Absa on the 20th July after l got a missed call from them to make an arrangement to pay my personal loan account, and l informed the consultant to debit my account on the 31st of August for the outstanding amount. However Absa still went ahead to debit R9692.98 on the 30th of July 2018 from my account which l didn't authorise. I went to the branch to reverse this unauthorized debit order (with proof that my contract has ended and I'll be out of work for 2 months) and was told to call the Absa loan department which couldn't assist me since l do not remember the exact time of the call, this is absurd and disappointing as l expected Absa to note my arrangement but still went ahead to take money from my account which l couldn't afford, l didn't authorise this payment how could Absa still go ahead to debit my account. If you cannot reverse this debit order please close all my accounts I'll pay what's outstanding from another bank. I cannot be with a bank that debits unauthorized debit orders from their clients.

Dear Absa You're complaints department was not useful in resolving the matter, your consultant was referring me back to the loans department which did not resolve the matter in the first place, l used reference number above for your information, your consultant informed that they'll still need to liaise with the loans department and will take up to 5 days to investigate, as l stated above your loans department was not willing to resolve the matter and l cannot wait for 5 days. What is it that you want to investigate when you know very well that Absa went into my account and debited such amount WITHOUT my authorisation. Is this the new Absa? Well if you cannot resolve the matter TODAY, Am giving you the AUTHORITY to close my accounts as l won't be visiting any of your branches, am gatvol.
