Just ended a call with my Friend Maianna Rees : Im Writing this as requested by her : She deposited her money in an Absa 32 Day notice account. Today she went to the Absa Middelburg Branch and tried to give early notice since she need some money for the transfer attorneys as she is in the process of buying a house. She is in desperate need to get R10 000 so that the house documents can be processed. She has over R100 000 in this notice account. She told the clerk that she is in danger of loosing the house...the clerk smiled sarcastically : LAYING BACKWARDS AND TOLD HER TO GO AND MAKE A LOAN BY AFRICA BANK. THEY WONT GIVE HER A CENT BEFORE 28 DEC 2018

I was so shocked...Is this the new ABSA why do they employ people like these in banks or is it the Banks culture,,,,this branch should be closed down....

The poor lady needs to pay the attorneys to secure the house purchase?????
