Not a bank but a **** never bank with Absa.

I had a credit card which i took in 2023, i was credited with R17000 a year later it was closed from their side meaning now i have to settle the account. After 2 years paying the account nothing less than R 550 a month where at some times I'd pay over R1k, and now i get constant calls from their agents, at least 5 calls a day asking me to pay my monthly installment. I recently asked how much is my outstanding balance and adter making all those paynents in plus minus 2 years, im now told i owe them R17000.

I just called them their Credit Card department and spoke to their consultant named desmond who broke it down for me and explained that all those monies i was paying were for insurance, acoount fees and interest on an account that i was not being able to utilize because they blocked it 2 years ago. I made it clear that I'll take it up should they blacklist me or even if this matter goes to court I'm not prepared to pay any cent to them again so i saw a need that the public should see how this Stellenbosch mafias' business is ****ing the vulnerable, and advise not to do any business with them in future.
