Hello Peter,
I experienced a DAY LIGHT ******* from Absa. Basically, Absa deducted R2000 without my consent on the 25th of July 2019, even after I had made an arrangement with one of their consultants 2 months ago. That I will put down a R100 every month for 3 months then after that I'll start paying anything between R1000-R1500 per month (I have an overdraft with Absa).
This morning I went to an Absa branch in Claremont to sort this matter out and I was assisted by a wonderful consultant by the name of Danielle Slimmert, who called the Absa's collections department asking them why did they debit R 2000 without my consent and that if there's a recording of agreeing to this (of which there's none). The Absa collections department referred this matter to EY Attorney's, where this matter was handed over.
Danielle Slimmert, from Absa asked they same question to, Lerato Maganedisa, from EY Attorney's who so rudely told me that I was waisting her time and I won't get my money back.
Is this the kind of service we are paying these days ?
I wouldn't wish this kind of service to happen even to my worst enemy.
I want to this matter forward. I'm not going to let this slide.
Regards, Unathi
