Damaging my credit profile

I had a credit card with ABSA, i subsequently lost my job which resulted in me not being able to keep up with the payments of the credit card. This resulted in ABSA selling the account to a debt collector company (Blakes & Maphanga attorneys) i thus started making monthly payments towards the said collecting law firm until such time that i paid it off and was issued with a paid up letter. The same letter was sent to ABSA cardobs which they confirmed that the account will be closed. What annoys me the most is that after i paid off the account ABSA sold the same account to a different debt collector firm MBD, now these idiots listed me on the credit bureau even after i sent them the paid up letter on numerous occasions. Can these ones from ABSA liase with MBD and tell them that i have settled this account so that my name can be removed from the credit bureau's cause this has had a negative impact on my credit score. We work extremely hard to ensure that we keep our credit profiles clean then these bullies do as they please, so annoying.
