Customers wait an hour for you to finish breakfast

As I work regular office hours, it is always a challenge to try to see to my personal errands during my lunch hour. Luckily, I work in the same office complex as Absa, Plumstead, so thought an hour would be more than sufficient to meet with a consultant. Unfortunately, I was wrong. On six separate occasions, 1 hour was simply not enough time an I had to leave my place in the queue.

I, therefore, decided to make the necessary arrangements with my employer to allow me to take the time off one morning to ensure I was first in the queue as the doors opened.

When I arrived there was one other lady in the queue in front of me. We were told that the consultants were all busy but that we would be seen to as soon as possible.

A woman passed us from a room to the rear carrying 2 cereal bowls & a packet of muesli & went into her office where she was joined by a colleague. The two sat for close to an hour, eating their breakfast & chatting. The customers sat & waited for an hour for them to be finished. I was truly shocked at the sheer disregard for their customers! I was further shocked to learn that the lady with the muesli was the branch manager who eventually heard my query at 9:30!
