Csah retained by ATM no feedback

<p>I went to ABSA in Campus Square to make a deposit at the ATM of R5700.00 on Monday 03.04.2017</p> <p> the ATM rejected a one hundred note amd retained the R5600. A receipt prindted out</p> <p>"YOUR CASH HAS BEEN RETAINED</p> <p>PLEASE CONTACT YOUR NEAREST</p> <p>CALL CENTER OR BRANCH"</p> <p>Which I did. I was assisted by Malerato Khabo who adviced me to fill in a customer complaint form which they will send to the SBV apparently they are responsible for the ATMs. I asked to be contacted about the updates of the case. At some stage I had to call Malerato using my own airtime and I was put on hold until my airtime ran out. Yeasterday which was the 6th she promised to call me back by 3pmIm still waiting. Mavis is the branch manager I explained the importance of having my money returned because it was an incovenience to me having to look for another money to pay my debt. They gave me 3 days to come up with the money. Today is the last day of the due payment. No feedback from Malerato and her manager the bank is closed due to a national shut down. I am appauled by the service and the lack of consistency by these two women. Neither one of them followd up or cared to keep me updated.
