Credit Score Enquiries

I did a business loan application in May…4 enquiries were made in a space of 30 days…WHY?! As a financial institution, you are fully aware of the negative impact that multiple enquiries have on one’s credit score. Surely if an enquiry is done within 30 days, the data is valid. And there were 2 enquiries done within 5 days from one another…please remove them from my record because they are ruining a profile that I have devoted time and effort to try to build.
