Credit Limit Increase

Getting your credit card limit increase approved by ABSA is one helluva mission. I phoned them on the 4th of Jan 2016 and spend 30 minutes answering all their questions. Only to hear that I have to send them 3 months bank statements, 3 months salary slips AND....listen to this, I also have to send them a letter from my wife wherein she gives permission that I may increase my credit card limit. ARE YOU ****ING SERIOUS??? I thought the guy was joking. And on top of this, you have to wait 10 working days for a reply from them whether it was approved or not. The guy said that the National Credit Act has changed and according to this law we must now wait 10 working days. Thanks for the **** service ABSA and thanks for treating me like a 10 year old.<br> I should go to another bank that's for sure. I'm tired of lame excuses and **** service.
