Credit card transactions

I made a purchase of x amount on my credit card. Two weeks after the purchase, I settled my account complete and had a positive balance. ABSA went and credited two thirds of the purchase amount for 'settlement' against my account. How can you settle an account if the account has a nil balance? At the point in time, you owed me money on my credit account. I called the call center and the consultant agreed and fixed the error only for the correction to be reversed again. In short I should owe you R19k plus the two weeks interest, sample right. Not R19k plus settlement amounts totaling R13k. THAT IS R32k IN TOTAL. The informal meaning of villainous is extremely poor and unpleasant. It describes the whole experience to the 'T'.

Lastly your premium banking department sucks.
