Credit Card Statement Cycle...What ii it?

ABSA Credit Card - Why are you playing games? Every month I attempt to settle the balance on my credit with a future dated payment before you issue a statement, however you continually do it the day before! An example, it used to be the 30th of month and I'd make a payment on the 29th. Then you changed to 29th, and I'd pay on the 28th. Last month it was 28th and I paid on the 27th. Today, expecting it to be the same ie I pay on the 27th, and the statement is issued on the 28th, you somehow decided to issue the statement on the 26th, and my payment went through at 1am on the 27th. Please, please enlightenment me as to how you determine what your statement cycle is? I gather you are able to 'see' when I set up a future dated payment to settle my credit card balance, so that you can catch me out and start levying interest/fee's.
