Credit card life insurance

<p>I had a credit with absa for the past 5/6 years. For the past 5 years I haven't been working ( contract ended) since today. I have been trying to pay it off for the first 3 years until 2 years back were i couldn't pay for it ( meaning paying late or little than the monthly installments). I sent my previous employer's letter to the bank ( last year august). </p> <p>I have been paying life insurance with the instalments. I am surprised that now that I have sent the unemployment letter to the bank, they can't pay it off. Last august i just got a text confirm the receipt of my enquiry. Today I got absa legal team email demanding I pay the owed amount.</p> <p>The reason I sent through the employment letter was the fact that I can't afford to pay it.</p> <p> </p> <p>This year January 06th I went to the bank with the same letter but no one from Absa has contacted me back</p> <p>There any way I can get help. </p> <p> ********** 317/ ********** 724</p>
