Credit Card Devision

<p> </p> <p>I would like to express how disgusted I am with ABSA and their credit card devision. I have been on debt review for years and finally all account has been paid up and im now debt free. I had 2 account with ABSA (Loans and CC). I called in last week to get a paid up letter and it was sent a few mins later by the consultant. I received all paid up letters but cannot get a clearance certificate from my debt counselor and my name cannot be removed from ITC and NCR until all paid up letters are received. Last week I received a mail saying that the ony paid up letter we are waiting for is from ABSA CC devision. I called and mailed them numerous time and only get ref numbers saying the account needs to be closed first before a paid up letter can be obtained. This is going on for almost 2 weeks and I dont see how long it takes to close an account.</p> <p>The Department that deal with this is a back-end department and cannot be reached. This is sickening service. I feel like im still under debt review because of the pathetic service i have been receiving from the CC devision. There are opportunities p***ing me by because ABSA CC is the hold up.</p> <p> </p> <p>I need a call from ABSA CC devision today still to give me the good news that my CC account is close and that my paid up letter is ready.</p> <p> </p>
