credit card declines

Good day i called yesterday to enquire about the credit card i have with you guys,because i tried to use the card over weekend and it declines the lady said its because of fica and that i did not submit necessary documents of which i did submit at absa midrand when i activated the card,she said absa midrand will call me yesterday of which never happen ,can i get an assistance please ????
