credit card closure

I have made numerous call to Absa and sent email for them to close my credit card as its settled, I even went to the branch to enquire with a consultant who advised me to make a call to credit card closure department who gave me run arounds, I gave them a call on Monday they promised to call back even now I am waiting, the month is coming to an end, they will be deducting charges for the card that I am no longer using.
