Credit card cansellation

Credit card was ****** 28-01-2026 and reported as such on the same day, also requested to cancel this card (did not want a new card). This was reported via 1) going into the bank (31-01-2026) , 2) e/mail and by 3) phone (02-02-2026). My card was in a credit and the money was transferred to by debit card, now today I get an out-standing amount of R71. Phoned their helpline which is of very little help and then the amount goes up to the R90+. If the card was cancelled how come do I now owe the bank money if the card was cancelled ????
