Credit card cancellation

<p>What's the point of having a call centre if the phone is never answered???</p> <p>I've been trying to cancel/close my credit card account for the better part of today, even after going to the branch, I still haven't been successful. I have paid the settlement amount but the account remains open because of your good for nothing call centre!!! I spent 30 minute on hold whilst at the branch and still didn't get through. I've now spent another 25 minute (at my own cost) and still not getting through. Why is it impossible to get through??</p>
