I'm so disgusted with Absa Credit Card division who cant stop ripping people off. I received a statement for Feb 2025 which was showing that the balance on the account was R193.55 , then I decided to pay R194.00 . Then I asked them to close this account as I wont be needing the credit card anymore . Just when I thought I'm done with this account, I received a statement showing a balance of R66.56. When I asked them about it ,I was advised that its bank charges. But why bank charges if the account is paid in full ?? This is ridiculous and disgusting

Now again this month ,the balance is no longer R66.56 ,it has gone over a R100+

My advise is, STAY AWAY from this bank. None of my family members will ever have an account with this bank. I will make sure of that
