Credit card benfits ?

I have a private bank credit card of which one of the benefits is Purchase protection. I phoned Absa to get some more information about this benefit. Spent almost an hour on the phone getting sent from pillar to post and nobody knowing what I was talking about and have now given up. I'm appalled at the incompetence.
