Credit card approved but cancelled without notice

I app**** online for a credit card on 19/11. It was approved and I had to send through all the necessary documents which I did. I did not receive any communication and had to phone the new credit card applications a few times. They told me they didn't receive my documents, I then emailed it a few times, which I kept the proof of and also emailed it to the contact card department. I phoned 2 weeks ago and the lady I spoke to told me it was approved and they are busy finalising it. I phoned last week and spoke to a lady who told me they had a backlog but not to worry, they are still busy finalising it, they will send me an sms with delivery details. I phoned back today and Mansi told me it was cancelled. I asked her who cancelled it and she told me it was cancelled by myself.<br> <br> I am furious as I did not cancel anything and was awaiting my card? She told me we had to go through the whole process again to apply for a card. She also told me they had no documents of me on the system. Even after I have emailed it so many times and have proof of this. It is no more than a month and I am worried that someone stole my documents to do *****??? Better off moving to Nedbank....
