I recently logged a complaint on this site.... And I must say Absa really came to the party, however received a call from a very rude lady ( Michelle) from LGR shouting at me for not answering my phone and told me that a summons and judgement on my name has been done due to my account not been active....... Firstly why has no one called me in this regard to make arrangements...... Clearly I have been retrenched and ABSA know this as they have just put in two of my claims for my credit card and my loan account.... And this was handled well and I thank you for this but really why hand it over instead of asking how we can help by making a payment arrangement which I could try to do..... Surely this should treated in the same light instead of this kind of treatment..... I was happy to pay a monthly fee of R500 per month until I found employment but no....... WHY

ok so once again i take to hello Peter and after been told by Nthabiseng Sibande that they can help me and that if i want to consoladate i would need to go into the bank. So asked my Husband to please ask his private banker Veneetha (durban). before i continue i must make mention that i started working on the first of September after been retrenched for 2 and half years ago and wanted to sort my life out and it made sence to consoladate all outstanding amounts from Absa (overdraft and credit ) so that you would get paid i would pay an affordable manthly installment so we were advised to consolidate into i bond....... after we subbmitted all our papaer work and including a new lease from our tentants who right there rental covers our bond it would have worked out to around an extra 600 / 800 a month, once all the documents were send we got told WAIT FOR IT we cant help because i have debit with WAIT FOR IT ABSA....... I have had the worst 2 years of been unemployed and have two kids to feed etc and now i am working and am trting to pay you tell me i cant help you all our paper work was filled in and to new lease signed because thats what you asked for EVERYTHING and you tell to get lost....... i have a LG lawyers telling me i have legal action against me.... REALLY FEEL LIKE GOING TO WENDY KNOWLER OR CARTE BLANCHE..... i have been fighting with Absa for months and months.... At least i have prove i have tried everything so take me to court i will land up paying 10 a month your choice
