Covid 19 ***** and incompetence

I have been with Absa bank for more than 20 years now so when I decided to buy my first house I naturally decided to go with Absa. What a bad decision it has turned out to be. Bought my house in February 2020 and asked the mortgage installment to go off via debit order at the end of each month. Never happened somehow the debit order was automatically cancelled and I now have to phone them every month to deduct the money manually. Ask them to rectify still does not happen so cannot even get a debit order right.

Secondly I never app**** for payment relief ever on my home loan. Low and behold I get an sms stating that my payment relief application has been approved. This is actually ***** from Absa bank that wants to give a client automatic payment relief to make up thousands of rands on your homeloan by adding interest over 20 years. Imagine how much the client will have to pay back. So Absa please cancel the payment relief option on my home loan for which I never app**** or else I will be opening a ******** docket of ***** against who ever approved this and please ensure that the debit order be put in place for my home loan to be deducted at the end of each month as originally app**** for when opening the account. Disgusting incompetence.
