Court Order

Greetings,

My account as per the statement dated 10th August 2017 states that I have an arrears amount of R10 944 of which R5 238 which is due in 30 days from the date of statement.

I understand my account has been in arrears and for the past two months, end of June 2017 over and above my normal installment of R4 587 I paid R6000 and last month end of July 2017 I paid an additional amount of R7 000. However as if that is not enough this afternoon I received a call from a guy claiming that he has been issued with the Court Order against me and that perplexes me, as nobody from ABSA has ever contacted me to inform me that what I have been doing for the past two months is not enough or not aceptable. I find ABSA's move very strange, as the precedence is there that I am able now to pay my account. I informed them in the past as to why the account was in arrears and now I will be able to settle the arrears amount, even though I won't be able to make a once of payment.

Considering that the statement is showing that only R5 238 is paybale within 30 days and we only in 15 days from the statement date, this is unfair and unreasonable.
