CORPORATE BULLIES

Shocking "non" service from Debt Review/Legal Department. I've been trying unsuccessfully for the past 5 YEARS to get someone to contact me in order to sort out our Home Loan. We've paid faithfully for the past 16 years, yet the "latest" statement reflects almost R200 000 more than the initial bond app**** for? ABSA telling us they won't release us from Debt Review, yet we want to settle our outstanding balance. I have written proof from ABSA regarding the incorrect interest rate, yet statements (if and when we get them) are still reflecting the incorrect amount. I am now in the process of going the legal route, along with a forensic auditor which will be for ABSA's cost. Our Debt Counsellor is no longer practicing so unable to assist. This is nothing short of bullying. Passing the buck, using Covid as an excuse for non-service. Shocking. Why does it take complaint after complaint, social media threats, legal route for the client to hopefully get some type of response.
