Contractors can't get vehicle finance, Really?

I called Absa Vehicle Finance , spent about 20 min , on my expense , doing an application for finance for a new vehicle. Then when he told me someone else from ABSA would call me back. They did and told me,<br> that I was unable to get any finance for the vehicle , due to my job situation as a contractor.<br> This is so disappointing , that a bank can't even provide finance , even though you have banked loyally with <br> them for the past 34 years , whereby payments weren't skipped on Vehicles or Bonds , and contract work has been done during that period.<br> With millions of people contracting , do you mean to tell me that no Contractor can get Finance??<br> <br> I will go to another bank if they don't want my business.
