contact not possible

I received a letter from the post office on friday 04 03 2016 to collect.the following day i received a letter from absa @ the post office it were sent on the 06 02 2016 about my cheque account which i dont use & R1655.09 in arears for unpaid debits it also states if i dont respond within 20 business days legal steps will be taken.this morning i decided to phone these numbers provided***) the fitst time someone answered & drop the call the second time i asked a name lyndola i were told & just drop the call***) just rang what a joke.for about 10 years i banked with absa there were times i were messed around like example when absa aproached me to convert to a cheque acount some debit ordersabsa messed up.i cannot understand why absa made me go the post office to collect a letter when i do have a work & home tel number to notify me so i had to go in my work time lost sales because i work on commision & yes please check mypayslips with my personal loan wich i never skipped 1 month or my savings account where i got ripped of with bank charges.wondering if i deserve a letter like this
