Confusing debit order

I had a loan by ABSA which I paid up but didn't close officially. A year after thia happened then a R206 suddenly get debited off my account. I went to the Branch on 27th March 2018 and was told by Thaafir Essack that the account needed to be closed. It was my mistake and he phoned their accounts closing dept in front of me. He told me the lady said my account is in credit. Payday April 2018 another R206 got taken via debit order. I went back to the bank on 28th April 2018 to query this. Got told by same gentleman it is Saturday and he will phone first thing the Monday. Got a call from him 03rd May 2018 stating that I owe them either 185 or 158(not sure ) to close the account. My query : Why did they take my money two months in a row now I owe them.
