Complete lack of urgency to solve an issue

A bank card was ordered on 21 September 2015, I was told 5 days, a week later I went back to the bank I was told the card is in transit, I was told it would be there last Monday, needless to say I went back last Monday the card was still in transit, last Wednesday I called them, spoke to Khanyi the acting manager she was unable to help or get to the bottom of my query, came back to me with the same transit story, she will follow up and come back to me, today I went back to the bank as I did not hear from her, she had the same disinterested attitude she had before and was unable to offer me a single answer that was not thumb sucked, after more than an hour they told me the card was delivered to another branch, but was unable to find out where, during this time I requested a card to be issued from the bank, it took them 30 minutes to tell me that they in fact cannot issue a card because of the type of account, how do you as a manager leave your branch in the hands of this level of incompetence without it having far reaching consequences.

How Absa is still in business only God knows

It would be easier to take my business to FNB or Standard Bank where customers still matter
