Colossal fail for ABSA - massive win for FNB!

I called ABSA card division before we left for France at the end of April, to notify them of our travels. I asked the card division operator if I needed to do anything else to use my card abroad. They said no the needed authorisation was added to the account. My husband made a call to FNB at precisely the same time to notify them. <br> However on Monday (13/05/15) when I gave my card (using it for the first time on trip) to Ibis as guarantee the card was declined. Luckily my husband is with FNB and they actually take you serious when you notify them, as he card worked perfectly.<br> <br> Colossal fail for ABSA - massive win for FNB!
