Collapsed ceiling-
The ceiling in my Mother's house collapsed in September & then she went to ABSA to claim as she bought the house through ABSA. After inspection by \Absa Assessors\" ABSA is saying they cannot pay for the damage. This is the response from their assessor \"The Ceiling boards were fixed to brandering with 25 mm clout nails at 400 to 600 mm centres and brandering is spaced at between 500 and 550 mm.\"<br> My problem is how do we as individuals who invest in property know what kind of materials should be used in building of houses. My mom does not even know anything with regards to construction. Now she is living in a house with ceiling that are collapsing while she pays the bond every month &
