Closed Account

I've opened a bank account for my child a few months back and was told that I could deposit cash immediately into the account, this however did not work. I then was advised it would take 24 hours to activate. After waiting the card still did not activate. It took about 72 hours to activate. In that time I did not get a chance to deposit as I had cash and was not near any ATM. Today I see when I log on the Absa app it shows that there are no accounts linked anymore. Is it possible that I can get this account re activated so that I can make a deposit in it? Please help Absa as I'm not able to go back into the branch.
