Close bank Account

Went to ABSA towers North to simply close my bank account because of ridiculous bank charges no one is willing to assist all they are doing is moving me from pillar to pillar, I ended up being told I need proof address to close it and I can't close it bacause only one name from my ID was captured on the system when I opened the bank account. That is just nonsense it's within my right to close my bank account. Can you please close my bank account I don't want it anymore and have also switched my salary to a new bank.
