Claims office skirts responsibility

I logged a claim with ABSA and called back many times during the two weeks it took them to get an assessor out to assess my leaking pool. The claim was rejected. Another independent assessor went to look and confirmed, as per my own witnesses (tenants etc), that there is a very visible leak and that the ABSA assessor was there on the day that they had filled up the pool, when the leak wasn't as visible.

I've now been asking for two weeks that ABSA share with me how their Assessor conducted the assessment, in order to gauge whether a proper audit was in fact done. ABSA will not share this information with me, and have now stated that the onus lies on me to prove that their assessor did not do what he was supposed to! How the! I can't even begin to explain how much is wrong with this reply from their side. Am I now to incur costs to test their assessors? Also, their Insurance department has NO report of how the assessment was carried out. Their assessor, upon contact from me, also has NO report of how the assessment was done. What a joke!
