Claim rejected

I currently live in my moms house as she lives in Zambia. About a month ago the pump on my washing machine broke. After having to pay R1600 to have it repaired we discovered that the outlet pipe which runs under the floor in my sons room had a leak and the water had damaged the laminated flooring. About 3 weeks ago my mom lodged a claim with ABSA. The claim was initially handled very quickly and the plumber came out and checked everything that need to be replaced and repaired. Since then we hadnt heard another peep out of them. After 2 weeks of having to take my washing to a laundromat; i contacted ABSA. The lady really tried to help me but said there was no info on the claim and she would check with the team handling the claim and phone me back. What a suprise; no phone call. I then phoned again 3 days later and got put through to a lady that told me " Im not allowed to tell you this but the claim has been rejected. You should receive a phone call and a letter advising you." When i asked her why the claim has been rejected, she told me that waste pipes are not covered. i have read through the policy document over and over again and i cannot find where waste pipes have been listed as exclusions.

Absolutely disgusted with the lack of communication and the so-called exclusions. What else it listed under the invisible exclusions clause?
