Cheque acc charges
I has a student account while I was studying and started working in 2014. Absa then decided to change my account from a student account to a normal cheque account. They have been charging me anything from R600 to R1000 every month for bank charges and and when I went to the branch on Long Street Cape Town last week I was told that they changed my account and have been charging me for every transaction and this was stipulated to the document ''they gave me when I opened the student cheque account''. The consultants they had on campus never gave me documents to read up on the conditions when I opened the account thus I want all my money back or I'm moving to FNB tomorrow. They should have notified me about the account changes when they saw my salary coming in and also make me understand why this implies in terms of charges. I don't want an apology because all this time they have been quite and just chowing my money, I want it back it's their fault. If a bank is making changes in your account they need to hunt you down the same way they hunt you down when you owe them.
