charging interest up front
I took out a student loan. Within 21 days I paid R10 000 down on the loan. However, the company took the R10 000. They first added the interest in advance and then deducted the R10 000. I phoned them and said surely interest vests over the term of loan and not up front. Absa says tough. that is how it is

I have also lodged this complaint prior to Hello Peter at their complaints department. Also with a promise of coming back. Nothing.
