Changing instructions given

My credit card has a payment due every month , I pay more than that and use the available funds as tollgate money . I kept on getting an sms my account is over due. I cant open any statement they send and have never received a credit card statement. I phoned to find out what the problem was and how I could go over my set limit. I was informed that when a transaction is put through to late they over charge the account. and you go over your limit. I specifically ask for a limit and that it could not be over changed. I asked what the amount due was and they did not explain what I asked form. Now I don't know what to pay to get the account up to date and I cant use the card . In fact I am sitting on the phone still its been 17:00min trying to speak to someone who can assist me in Afrikaans.
